About Doug
I understand the journey because I lived it.
I'm a fourth-generation Oregonian, raised on a small rural farm. My early years began in the logging industry, followed by service in the Marine Corps, a degree from the University of Oregon, and leadership roles with the Department of Defense.
In 2009 I founded Buell Recreation, grew it into a multi-state business, and successfully sold it in 2020. Today I help others evaluate opportunities, navigate challenges, and make better decisions about business ownership.
